Job summary

AmeriGas is seeking a motivated Utility Worker for the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility. You will process 20 lb. barbeque cylinders, ensuring safety and quality throughout each step of the workflow.

Responsibilities include inspecting, cleaning, labeling, and refilling cylinders, with emphasis on PPE and safe handling. Ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand 8–12 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain safety focus and wear PPE.
• Ensure cylinder quality during processing.
• Load filled cylinders for next-day shipments.
• Stand and walk 8–12 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Perform general housekeeping.
