Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring for a Production Worker in its cylinder exchange facility. The role involves processing 20 lb cylinders outdoors, with PPE and safety procedures in place.

You will sort, inspect, clean, label and refill cylinders, load shipments, and work 8–12 hour shifts standing for long periods. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn are required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow processes and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain state licensing and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label and refill cylinders.
• Maintain safety focus and wear PPE at all times.
• Ensure cylinder quality during processing.
• Load filled cylinders for next-day shipments.
• Stand and walk 8–12 hours per day; lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
