Job summary

The City of Austin is seeking a cultural arts program lead to develop and deliver engaging cultural education programs at the Austin Nature and Science Center. Under general supervision you will supervise temporary staff and volunteers while planning, scheduling and delivering tours, workshops and events.

You will monitor budgets, create promotional materials, coordinate with partners, and ensure safety and compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field plus one year of experience in programming cultural arts programs.
• Experience may substitute for education up to two years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop cultural arts programs.

• Perform routine administrative operations.
