Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking a Youth Enrichment Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations, engaging youth experiences, and strong staff/partner alignment across sites in the Austin area. The role supports CIS summer programming under the Director of Volunteer Engagement & Youth Enrichment Programs and is grant-funded through Aug 2027 with potential extension.

The position requires coordinating logistics, maintaining program materials, and promoting family engagement

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and families.
• Ability to coordinate cross-collaborative work with multiple teams and vendors.
• Budgeting, bookings, and vendor contract management.
• Experience managing inventory and program materials.
• Ability to track data for reporting and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support youth enrichment activities, family events, field trips, and out-of-school programs.
• Develop and distribute activity kits, camp materials, and program resources.
• Create marketing materials for youth programs in collaboration with leadership.
• Book field trips, guest presenters, and enrichment opportunities; serve as a chaperone.
• Coordinate registrations and promote camps with free/sliding-scale options.
• Support Back-to-School events and family engagement initiatives.
