Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Laborer for its Desert Pine renewable energy projects. This non-driver role supports construction and maintenance activities on solar and wind farm sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

You will assist skilled trades, perform general labor, load materials, keep the site clean, follow safety rules, and work outdoors in various weather. Reliable transportation to the site is required; pre-employment drug screen and background check apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a construction or industrial labor role preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site (non-driver position, but personal transport to the site is required).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Basic understanding of construction site operations is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks as directed.
• Perform general labor duties such as digging trenches, moving materials, site clean-up, and operating small hand tools and basic power tools.
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and transport them to work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disposal of debris and waste materials.
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and co-workers.
• Spot equipment and heavy machinery as needed to ensure safe operation.
• Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, racking systems, or wind turbine components as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project management.
