Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a general laborer to support renewable energy construction projects, performing site preparation, material handling, and tool setup in desert environments.

You will assist with setting up and tearing down sites, digging with hand tools, and supporting skilled trades while following safety procedures and PPE requirements. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and working outdoors in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions (extreme heat).
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to work outdoors in desert environments for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Prior construction/general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and tear-down of construction sites, including moving materials, tools, and equipment.
• Dig trenches, holes, and foundations by hand or with hand tools.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools (shovels, rakes, picks, hammers, drills).
• Clean and prepare worksites, remove debris, and maintain safety.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and vehicles.
• Assist skilled tradespeople as directed by supervisors.
• Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete tasks on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
