Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Laborer to support its Desert Pine renewable energy projects. This non-driver role assists skilled trades, handles trenching, material movement, and site cleanup at solar and wind sites, while upholding safety protocols.

Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding outdoor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Team-oriented and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a construction or industrial labor role preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site (non-driver position, personal transport required).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Basic understanding of construction site operations is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespersons (electricians, pipefitters, carpenters, etc.) with tasks as directed.
• Perform general labor duties: digging trenches, moving materials, site clean-up, operating small hand tools and basic power tools.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles; transport to work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; dispose of debris and waste materials.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Spot equipment and heavy machinery to support safe operation.
• Assist with assembly/installation of solar panels, racking systems, or wind turbine components as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project management.
