Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking an entry-level construction helper to assist foremen and skilled workers under close supervision. This role provides hands-on experience in heavy civil, waterworks and infrastructure projects, with a clear path to learn a skilled trade.

Based in Texas, you’ll perform physical tasks outdoors, handle materials, and support safety practices while growing in a collaborative team. No advanced degree is required, and training will be provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity required for handling tools and materials.
• Outdoors work with exposure to weather conditions.
• Experience with basic construction tasks preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools.
• Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
