Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking an entry-level labor position to assist foreman and skilled craft workers on heavy civil, waterworks, energy and infra projects in the United States and Canada. The role offers hands-on learning in a collaborative team while contributing to safe, quality outcomes on diverse sites.

Expect to work outdoors in varying weather, perform physically demanding tasks, and develop core construction skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• Entry level role designed to learn the skill set of a construction worker.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Heavy physical activity and stamina required.

Responsibilities

• Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools.
• Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
• Perform a variety of routine non-machine tasks such as removing forms, filling excavations, placing pipe sections in trench and assembling sections of pipe.
• Perform a variety of machine tasks such as tapping soil, jack hammering and assisting in the fusing of pipe.
