Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature tests, and cylinder sets, and verify soil compaction with a nuclear gauge. You will document results the same day and may start with no prior experience as training and certifications are provided.

You’ll work outdoors on Gulf Coast projects, learn to read job sites, and progress through a structured field training program while certification sponsorship is offered as you

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Comfortable outdoors in Gulf Coast heat and winter sites
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot
