Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders while documenting results daily.

You will verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge, communicate findings on-site, and travel to multiple sites as required. No experience is required to start; training is provided and certifications are sponsored as you progress.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to be coached and learn on the job.
• We sponsor certifications for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
