KDC/One is currently growing, and we are looking for an experienced Outbound Warehouse Manager. As part of the KDC/One network, we are the leading producer of beauty and personal care products!

This role will be responsible for managing and leading the site’s Shipping and Inventory Management to ensure customer needs are met and financial goals are achieved.

The essential duties of the role include:

1. Leading, assigning, and managing the activities of the Shipping and Inventory Management teams to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
2. Monitoring warehouse personnel and operations to meet production schedules on-time and in-full (OTIF).
3. Identifying cost optimization opportunities, such as reducing overtime, optimizing movement, and redesigning warehouse layout to reduce pallet touches.
4. Establishing KPIs and scorecards to track performance, resolve issues, and communicate results.
5. Ensuring inventory accuracy through policies, reconciliations, and management of inventory levels.
6. Auditing SAP transactions related to inventory and initiating corrective actions for discrepancies.
7. Recommending and implementing process improvements, training plans, and standard work procedures.
8. Partnering with customers on distribution and logistics objectives.
9. Training warehouse staff on SAP transactions, SOPs, and work instructions, ensuring proper equipment and safety gear.
10. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for new product and equipment implementation.
11. Supporting investigations into errors, safety incidents, and quality issues to ensure timely resolution and prevention.
12. Promoting safety and continuous improvement within the department and facility.
13. Training, coaching, and developing employees to meet performance and department standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred; alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of warehousing/DC experience, preferably in the personal care, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
2. At least 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Experience with SAP MM/SD/WM & RF Scanning.
