Job summary

WebstaurantStore seeks an Outbound Team Lead who maintains in-depth knowledge of products and outbound procedures, communicating with shift managers and peers to meet daily goals. This role identifies issues, takes corrective action, and serves as a role model for our culture to engage employees.

The position emphasizes leading by example, coaching team members, and driving productivity while upholding company policies and safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; shipping experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in overseeing daily operations to ensure productivity and quality while meeting goals.
• Provide regular feedback on individual and team performance to leadership.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate expectations and best practices.
• Flex into other departments or roles as needed to support operations.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and timely through efficient processes.
