Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an Outbound Assistant Manager to support the Outbound Manager in overseeing shipping operations, including picking, packing, and QA, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and customer experience.

The role requires collaboration with leadership across shifts and departments to ensure SOPs are followed, metrics are met, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.

Qualifications

• Manage day-to-day Outbound department operations to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy.
• Train, coach, and hold accountable up to X employees to meet metrics.
• Monitor metrics and resolve issues for receiving and outbound processes.
• Communicate policies and procedures clearly to all teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day Outbound operations including Picking, Consolidation, Packing, QA and other indirect roles.
• Train, coach, develop, and hold accountable up to X employees to achieve operational metrics.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide clear and frequent communication to teams regarding company policies and procedures.
• Lead weekly and monthly meetings to review metrics and initiatives and share updates.
• Analyze opportunities for productivity growth, cost reduction, damage mitigation, and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to create development plans for employees to maintain engagement.
• Model integrity and embody company values and lead by example.
