Job summary

Lingo Staffing is seeking an experienced Outbound Supervisor to lead outbound and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced distribution setting. The role oversees a team of 50+ associates and ensures orders are shipped accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has strong warehouse leadership, distribution, and shipping experience, with proficiency in WMS/OMS, RF scanners, and forklift operation. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Outbound Supervisor - Temp-to-Hire

Location: Plainfield, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM + overtime as needed
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 per year

About the Position

We are hiring an experienced Outbound Supervisor / Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily outbound and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising a team of 50+ associates, monitoring shipping performance, supporting e-commerce fulfillment, and making sure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support a team of 50+ warehouse associates.
• Oversee daily outbound, shipping, picking, packing, and fulfillment operations.
• Monitor daily reports and ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) shipping goals are met.
• Monitor SLA performance and ensure e-commerce orders are shipped on time.
• Closely monitor TikTok orders and ensure they are shipped within required deadlines.
• Work with the Outbound Fulfillment Manager to align labor with daily order volume.
• Move and adjust labor throughout the day based on business needs.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide hands-on support on the warehouse floor.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and fulfillment performance.
• Promote and maintain a strong warehouse safety culture.
• Coach, motivate, and encourage associates to meet performance expectations.
• Operate forklift equipment when needed.
• Use operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma process improvement initiatives.
• Work extended hours during peak season as needed.
• Communicate operational needs and updates to the General Manager.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment.
• Previous experience supervising 50+ associates.
• Distribution or e-commerce fulfillment experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and OMS (Order Management Systems).
• Strong understanding of RF scanners, picking, and packing.
• Experience monitoring shipping KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and fulfillment metrics.
• Forklift experience and ability to operate equipment as needed.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach a large warehouse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
• Data-driven approach and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working extended hours during peak season.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
