Arvato is hiring an Outbound Team Lead to manage day-to-day shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will lead a team, assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure accurate, timely outbound shipments in line with customer and carrier requirements.

The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and cross-department coordination to maintain smooth workflow. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of shipping experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated shipping experience and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates during outbound processes.
• Assign work and monitor productivity to meet daily shipping goals.
• Oversee order picking, packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments.
• Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and shipped per customer and carrier requirements.
• Monitor labor allocation and adjust staffing based on workload and priorities.
• Coach, train, and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Enforce safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control, Inbound, Transportation, Quality, and Operations leadership.

Job Description

The Outbound Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

YOUR TASKS

• Leading and supervising a team of warehouse associates during the outbound process.

• Overseeing order picking, packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments.
• Ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and shipped according to customer and carrier requirements.
