Job summary

Steer seeks a Business Development Specialist in Waltham, MA to build outbound motion, create opportunities from scratch, and guide buyers through a streamlined process. This is an on-site role with potential hybrid after 3 months, offering a $85k OTE ($60k base + commission).

You will conduct high-volume outreach, demonstrate our SaaS product, and work with the sales team to progress deals, targeting blue-collar businesses and shop owners.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience in outbound prospecting or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and activity metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with phone-based outreach.
• Experience performing product demonstrations and consultations.

Responsibilities

• Drive outbound growth with high-volume calls to identify decision-makers.
• Master the Steer SaaS product and communicate its value during demos.
• Employ a consultative selling approach to address pain points.
• Maintain CRM records for accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Qualify opportunities and collaborate with sales for deal progression.
