Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager for outbound and overall site management in the USA. You will supervise warehousing, receiving, and shipping while aligning labor, space, and equipment with client SLAs and cost objectives.

You will lead a team, implement SOPs, manage KPI performance, and coordinate with HR for staffing and development. Strong leadership and safety compliance are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years in logistics with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
• Plan inbound/outbound volumes; manage space, equipment, and labor.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; set performance goals.
• Ensure safety, quality, and KPI targets; comply with SOPs.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing, training, and development.
• Communicate with senior management and clients on critical issues.
• Manage budgeting and cost controls within contracts.
