Job summary

Capital Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking an Inventory Control professional to manage 3rd Party Outbound Logistics. You will coordinate outbound shipments, verify order accuracy, and work with 3PLs and carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining shipment records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting audits. The role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a nationwide electrical distributor network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Experience working with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers and transportation carriers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and logistics management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, freight terms, and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process and schedule outbound shipments using SWMS and carrier portals.
• Coordinate daily shipping activities with 3PLs, warehouses, and carriers.
• Generate and review shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, labels, invoices, customs).
• Ensure accurate shipment routing, carrier selection, and freight classification.
