Job summary

Capital Electric Supply in Maryland is seeking an Inventory Control/3PL Shipping Associate to coordinate outbound shipments and monitor logistics using SWMS and carrier portals.

The role includes verifying orders, coordinating inventory transfers, communicating with carriers, and maintaining accurate freight records. A minimum of 2+ years in logistics and proficiency in Excel and logistics systems are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in logistics, transportation, shipping, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with 3PL providers and transportation carriers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and logistics management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, freight terms and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process and schedule outbound shipments using SWMS and carrier portals.
• Coordinate daily shipping with third-party logistics providers, warehouses, and carriers.
• Generate and review shipping docs: BOLs, packing slips, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure accurate shipment routing, carrier selection and freight classification.
