Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Inventory Control Returns Specialist. You will lead returns processes, coordinate stock, defective, and non-stock returns, and work with Operations, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Shipping teams to improve accuracy and cut costs.

The role requires 3–5+ years in Fulfillment/Distribution with leadership experience, plus strong data analysis and communication skills. Forklift certification may be needed in some shifts.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of word-processing, Excel, Outlook, and WMS systems.
• Ability to analyze moderately complex data and present findings.
• 3–5+ years in Fulfillment/Distribution and Inventory Control with some leadership.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Process and coordinate the return of stock inventory at the CDC.
• Process and coordinate the return of defective inventory.
• Manage the return of non-stock materials to manufacturers using RGAs.
• Prioritize and process daily stock returns from the service area.
• Maintain records of all return transactions and supporting docs.
• Ensure returned inventory is identified, categorized, and routed for disposition.
• Manage Stock, Non-Stock, Damaged, and Defective Returns areas.
• Support cycle count activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support outbound freight picking and shipping.
• Assist with the scrap wire process, including tracking and documentation.
