Job summary

Sysco Knoxville, LLC is seeking an Operations Loader responsible for loading pre-assembled merchandise and pallets for shipment. This role requires frequent lifting and safe handling of goods for delivery, under general supervision.

Responsibilities include loading trucks, wrapping pallets, and ensuring load stability to protect products and drivers. You will operate pallet jacks or forklifts, follow safety protocols, and support team members to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months warehouse experience preferred.
• 3 months experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Previous Sysco or foodservice industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads shipments; frequently lifts boxes weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Loads trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions.
• Packs product to prevent damage and maintains load stability for driver safety.
• Wraps pallets by machine or by hand to ensure stability.
• Unloads and cleans trucks as necessary; operates stock trucks and mechanical jacks safely.
• Prepares products for shipment, weighing, handling and transporting as needed.
• Marks, addresses, loads and packs product for delivery and condition.
• Complies with all safety regulations and standards.
