You will help prepare items for shipment and ensure on-time delivery to customers, requiring multitasking, organization and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with overhead crane operation.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving documents.
• Understanding of basic measurement tools (tape measures, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Select material for shipment from shipping/receiving documentation.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane to move materials.
• Load, unload and stack materials following procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date forklift certification and crane training.
• Verify inventory tags and accuracy of loads.
• Sign and monitor shipping paperwork.
• Assist with housekeeping of docks and storage areas.
