Job summary

L and R Distributors is seeking a full-time Outbound Runner to join our warehouse team. The role involves picking and filling boxes, processing shipments, and ensuring accuracy while moving orders through outbound lanes.

Candidates should be comfortable working in varied temperatures, stand for long periods, follow safety procedures, and communicate issues with Shipping and Automation teams. RF scanning and warehouse management systems will be used to verify orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment with ability to stand for long periods.
• Comfort working in environments with cold and hot temperatures.
• Ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inventory: pick and pack products into bins, boxes, and containers; maintain an inventory list and assist with restocking.
• Safety and housekeeping: keep a clean, organized workstation and report hazards; communicate issues to shift leaders.
• Outbound flow: move completed orders to outbound shipping, monitor conveyor flow, and stage orders for loading; escalate equipment problems.
