Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a team-oriented forklift operator to process outbound orders and stock merchandise in our Brownsburg distribution center.

You will operate fork trucks and stock pickers, maintain safety standards, replenish totes, and support training programs for new team members in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires teamwork, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work with power equipment; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.
• Working knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience operating various type of power equipment.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Process all outbound orders requiring the use of a forklift or stock picker.
• Responsible for stocking all rack merchandise and arranging rack surplus from zones in the appropriate manner.
• Responsible for setting down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled.
• Perform any miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed, where applicable.
• Assist with maintaining mezzanine zones.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete.
• All other duties as assigned.
