Webstaurantstore seeks an Outbound Assistant Manager to oversee shipping operations on their shift, focusing on picking, packing, and quality. You will collaborate with the Outbound Manager and leadership across shifts to ensure SOP compliance and efficient processes.

The role emphasizes coaching teams, analyzing metrics, and driving improvements while maintaining high customer service standards in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Automated picking experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of day-to-day operations within the Outbound department, including Picking, Consolidation, Packing, QA and other indirect roles; ensure high quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Train, coach, develop, and hold accountable up to X employees to achieve operational metrics and satisfy DC needs.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics with Outbound Manager; identify and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide clear and frequent communication regarding company policies and procedures.
• Lead weekly and monthly meetings with leadership to review metrics and initiatives.
• Analyze opportunities for productivity, cost reduction, damage mitigation, and efficiency improvements.
