Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Service Manager - VG Dedicated to coordinate and oversee outage execution for Venture Global. You will lead teams, manage scope, scheduling, and costs while ensuring safety, quality, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in functional management, and experience with rotating equipment. You will work in a dynamic environment supporting field services and customer programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 additional years in Functional Management.

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assuring flawless outage execution with safety and quality at the forefront.
• Ensuring on-time outage delivery, resolving customer issues, and delivering exceptional service.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships via site visits and reviews.
• Managing outage execution activities including planned, emergent, and upgrade outages.
• Overseeing scope of work development, scheduling, cost management, and productivity tracking.
• Coordinating resource selection including FSEs, crafts, contractors, tooling, logistics, and mobilization.
• Reviewing JCEs, tracking outage costs, and facilitating pre/post-outage customer meetings.
• Implementing lessons learned and FMEA improvements post-outage.
• Supporting outage scoping, site surveys, equipment checks, and safety/risk assessments.
• Ensuring execution documentation is prepared, reviewed, and delivered (SQCPs, Field Procedures, HSE docs).
• Using Primavera P6, MS Project, FAP, Oracle FS, and Field Services Portal for planning/execution.
• Responding to forced outages and emergencies, escalating issues to restore operations safely.
• Coordinating customer service agreements, Time & Material projects, component repair, and shop ops.
• Working with repair shops and operations teams to resolve issues and communicate status.
• Reviewing options for profitability, policy adherence, and customer-focused improvements.
• Completing customer/internal documentation and coordinating visits/reviews as required.
• Presenting technical/operational updates to senior leadership.
• Applying project management and execution judgment for diverse customers in the region.
