Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Business & Project Support Supervisor in Orlando to oversee outage services and business support operations.

You will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate planning, inventory, and vendor support, and ensure safe, compliant execution for field personnel and stakeholders. The role emphasizes standard work, performance reporting, and onboarding for new field staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supervising business support, project support, outage services, or related operational activities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business metrics, procedural documentation, technical requirements, and performance data.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to respond to managers, customers, suppliers, field personnel, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Outage and Business Support operations, establish standard work, manage first-level escalations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate annual and seasonal outage forecasts into equipment, technology, documentation, inventory, and material-readiness plans for outages.
• Support budget planning for outage materials, technology devices, office supplies, and vendor services by tracking spend and variances.
• Monitor and report KPIs, including field report cycle time, backlog, on-time shipments, and inventory loss.
• Oversee preparation, quality review, and shipment of outage materials and field documentation packages.
