Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Service Engineering in Orlando, FL. You will serve as the primary technical liaison for assigned units, forecast outage scopes, track modification status, and lead root cause analyses.

The role requires deep mechanical engineering expertise and hands-on outage support, onsite and remotely, with cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in rotating equipment or power plant operations, 5+ years in RCA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; related experience may be accepted.
• At least eight (8) years in rotating equipment design/service or combined cycle power plant operations and maintenance.
• Five (5+) years of complex root cause analysis experience (8D, Fishbone, Fault Tree, etc.).
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal and external technical point of contact for all covered scope for assigned units.
• Be the customer facing technical point of contact for assigned units.
• Be the engineering internal facing technical point of contact for assigned units and manage technical risks.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for outage execution.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and plan relevant on-site actions.
• Develop and implement process improvements based on RCA findings.
