Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Project Control Engineer II for Field Outage Services to support sales proposals, cost estimating, and high-level scheduling for field projects.

The role requires coordination of pre-outage planning, travel as needed, and collaboration with Commercial Operations and Sales to develop customer proposals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 3+ years of related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Effective presentation skills with the ability to respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Proficiency with mathematical concepts and data analysis.
• Ability to travel (approximately 20%), including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level outage schedules for Field Services projects.
• Estimate outage duration and costs using cost estimating software.
• Maintain proficiency with cost estimating software.
• Develop cost estimating templates and standard work scope documents.
• Coordinate and support pre-outage planning activities, including schedule development and drawings preparation.
• Support negotiation and implementation meetings to develop cost estimates.
• Assist Commercial Operations and Sales with preparation of customer proposals.
• Conduct site walkdowns for complex scopes when required.
