Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Orlando to serve as the focal point for technical items across assigned units, defining outage scopes and leading RCA investigations.

You will collaborate with the Program Service Manager and the Project Management Office, provide onsite and remote technical support, and drive process improvements while maintaining fleet data and customer-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (relevant experience considered).
• At least eight years in rotating equipment design/service or power plant operations/maintenance, plus five+ years in complex root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, Fault Tree).
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers.
• 10–20% travel by land/air.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal and external technical point of contact for all covered scope for assigned units.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for outage execution.
• Define outage scope following outage planning battle rhythm (PBR).
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and plan corrective actions.
• Coordinate with GTSE, RMC, TOMONI and lead center support.
• Develop and implement process improvements based on RCA findings.
