Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Project Control Engineer II, Field Outage Services to help develop outage schedules, estimate costs, and support field projects.

This role requires coordinating pre-outage planning, interacting with Commercial Operations and Sales, and traveling as needed to support complex outages. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree with at least three years of related experience and strong skills in cost estimating, scheduling, and technical communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and technical procedures.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from stakeholders.
• Proficient in mathematics and statistical concepts.
• Proficient with database, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level outage schedules for Field Services projects.
• Estimate outage duration and costs using cost estimating software.
• Maintain proficiency with cost estimating software.
• Develop cost estimating templates and standard work scope documents.
• Coordinate and support pre-outage planning activities (schedule, parts, drawings).
• Assist Commercial Operations and Sales with customer proposals.
• Conduct site walkdowns for complex scopes when required.
