Job summary

Constellation is seeking an experienced Scheduler to coordinate forced, planned and refuel outages at a major nuclear facility in Illinois. The role emphasizes activity planning, resource alignment and constraint input into scheduling tools.

You will develop accurate schedules, maintain outage plans, and collaborate with engineers, system engineers, and outage specialists to ensure safe, compliant execution. A Senior Reactor Operator license or equivalent nuclear experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field with 7+ years of power plant experience and nuclear exposure.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 7+ years of power plant experience including nuclear exposure.
• Associate's degree with 9+ years of power plant experience including nuclear exposure.
• High school diploma/GED with 11+ years of power plant experience including nuclear exposure.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical/exam testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed, accurate outage schedules and reports.
• Create and maintain forced/maintenance outage plans.
• Coordinate outage schedules to ensure safety and compliance with procedures.
• Lead scheduling meetings and reviews with engineers and planners.
• Direct department schedulers and provide oversight for outage plan execution.
• Coordinate risk screening and contingency planning for outages.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management.
