Job summary

KAP Project Services, LTD. seeks an experienced Project Scheduler for a contract engagement running from October through the end of February.

The role is hybrid with remote work from home and periodic site travel, becoming 100% on-site during the 21-day turnaround in mid-January. The ideal candidate will build, manage, and update a Level 5 schedule using Primavera P6, integrating contractor schedules with internal IT and maintenance activities, and tracking progress with baseline curves for

Qualifications

• Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of Instrument & Electrical (I&E) workflows and controls scope.
• Ability to develop or validate effort-hour estimates.
• Experience analyzing and reporting schedule performance to leadership.
• Flexible hours and travel as project phases require.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and analyze a Level 5 schedule using Primavera P6.
• Integrate contractor schedules with internal maintenance and IT activities into a master plan.
• Track progress with resource-based effort hours and headcount vs baseline.
• Produce S-curves and progress curves with baselines for leadership.
• Provide daily schedule updates for end-of-day turnover and meetings.
• Forecast risks, changes, and mitigation opportunities and communicate to leadership.
