Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for Capital Projects to develop and maintain schedules for electric capital infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with project management, clients, engineering and construction to ensure on-time delivery.

The candidate will perform critical path analysis, support risk management, and provide regular updates. A hybrid work arrangement is offered, with three days in the office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• Proficiency using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Familiarity with the practical application of project controls.
• 5 or more years of project experience.
• Post-secondary graduate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivation to learn and deliver high-quality results.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel/Access) skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical capital infrastructure projects.
• Interface with project management, client management, engineering, construction and other stakeholders.
• Perform critical path analysis and provide schedule insights and corrective actions.
• Support schedule contingency management and identify project risks.
• Provide regular project updates and report deviations from baseline.
• Produce look-ahead, actuals and schedule quality reports.
• Travel to client offices for coordination meetings as needed.
