Job summary

ComEd seeks a disciplined Operations Control Center professional to monitor the distribution system, disseminate outage information and support daily operations. The role requires handling alphanumeric paging, database updates and intranet communications to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.

You'll provide on-call support, assist dispatchers with technical issues, and generate performance reports. A high school diploma is required, with preferred technical coursework or degree, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience with outage notifications and system event tracking is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Notify system events and update stakeholders via paging, websites and databases.
• Answer information requests on system status from internal departments and agencies.
• Document events and status in OMS/SCADA, CIMS, Load Shed and related systems.
• Generate reports for OCC Director, Shift Managers and Information Desk Supervisors.
• Assist dispatchers with computer/application problems and coordinate repairs.
