Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis LLC is seeking an EHS professional to support customer projects, including safety walk-downs, trainings, and site evaluations. The role requires up to 8 months away from home and reports to the Outage Services EHS Manager.

The position covers implementing safety plans, coordinating with customer EHS reps, and conducting incident investigations across MD&A outage sites and facilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in construction safety.
• CHST certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Knowledge of rigging, scaffolding, confined space entry, mechanical systems, and industrial tooling.
• Exposure to Human and Organization Performance improvement is a plus.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate proper implementation of customer requirements, safety expectations, and project safety plan.
• Coordinate with customer EHS representation and site POC.
• Observe project progression and identify/eliminate hazards to prevent incidents.
• Assist onboarding of project personnel including sub-contractors and drug testing requirements.
• Assist with pre-task briefs and task safety briefings.
• Administer and record weekly safety evaluations.
• Investigate all incident reports.
• Treat and report any first aids.
• Monitor and authorize confined space entries.
• Conduct safety training for employees, including crane and forklift qualifications.
• Attend customer safety meetings and pre-project meetings.
