Qualifikationen

Role Overview

This is an onsite role, contributing to ELDS operations in North America. Key stakeholders include production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

You Will Be Primarily Responsible For

• Reporting HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders while coordinating immediate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Leading or facilitating detailed incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying system failures and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicating lessons learned and best practices from investigations across the organization to support continuous improvement and prevent repeat incidents.
• Driving safety culture initiatives and behavioral change programs to strengthen proactive hazard identification, reporting, and employee engagement.
• Maintaining and executing the HSE compliance calendar to ensure all regulatory and internal requirements are completed, documented, and audit-ready.
• Conducting comprehensive HSE assessments, including Activity-Based Risk Assessments (ABRA), PPE evaluations, machine guarding inspections, and LOTO compliance checks.
• Providing oversight and guidance for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, working at heights, and aerial lift operations through permit-to-work systems for both employees and contractors.

Qualifications for the Role

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of HSE-related experience.
• Safety certifications or formal training preferred.
• Working knowledge of local HSE regulations preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management systems.
• Experience with management systems, including implementation of the ABB Way HSE system and ISO standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
• Ability to support waste management programs, including training employees on waste reduction and compliance requirements.
• Capability to conduct ergonomic assessments, recommend improvements, and train employees on injury prevention practices.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
