Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. seeks an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety-focused team in San Diego, CA. This route covers San Diego to Aragonite, UT and/or La Porte, TX, averaging 2,900–3,000+ miles weekly.

Drivers earn about $95–$115K per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus, plus bi-weekly home time and pay that includes hourly on-duty time and mileage. Comprehensive benefits follow 30 days of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with at least 12 months of driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to effectively use mobile apps and computer software for operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles safely.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading and secure loads.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and trip reports daily.
• Comply with DOT requirements and weight limits.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures at all times.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in San Diego, CA! This route runs from San Diego, CA to Aragonite, UT AND/OR La Porte, TX and averages 2900-3000+ miles per week.

About the role:

• Drivers average $95-$115K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
