Job summary

Clean Harbors in Denton, TX is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety-focused team. This route runs from Denton to California and averages 2,800–3,000 miles per week, with two weeks out.

Compensation includes hourly on-duty time and mileage pay, with drivers averaging $80–$110K per year and a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Bi-weekly home time helps balance life on the road.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to use required technology such as mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste and secures loads.
• Places placards in accordance with DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
