Job summary

Clean Harbors in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety-focused team. The route runs from SLC to Kimball, NE and other northwest locations; drivers can be domiciled in Kimball, NE.

Average earnings are $80k–$110k per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Weekly home time, with a mix of hourly on-duty time and mileage pay, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of the units.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secure loads.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Salt Lake City, UT. This route runs from SLC to Kimball, NE and various other northwest locations. Driver can be domiciled out of Kimball, NE. Averages 2800-3000 miles per week. 2 weeks out required.

About the role:

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
