Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety‑conscious team in Kimball, Nebraska. This route runs from Kimball, NE to Aragonite, UT and El Dorado, AR, averaging about 2,800 miles per week.

The role offers a $90,000–$120,000 annual target, plus a $7,500 sign‑on bonus, biweekly home time, and pay that includes hourly on‑duty time and mileage.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL withHazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work from heights.
• Proficiency with mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety is the top priority and adheres to all safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and proper unit utilization.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste, secures loads.
• Places DOT-compliant placards on the vehicle.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports.

• Drivers average $90-$120K per year

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
