Job summary

NEP Group in the United States is seeking a full-time Over the Road (OTR) Mobile Unit Driver to safely transport and set up mobile units for events nationwide.

You will drive CDL-A trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, coordinate with technicians, and travel extensively, including weekends. The role requires 5+ years OTR experience, a clean DOT record, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Five plus years’ over-the-road experience driving a commercial CDL-A.
• A valid CDL Class A Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Maintains a clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Hands-on electronics repair/installation experience with ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must drive 18 and 10 speed manual transmission trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT reporting requirements.
• Ability to drive CDL Class A and B vehicles (auto and manual).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks in various weather.
• Ability to interact with client technical and production staff at remote events.
• Willingness to work Monday–Sunday with 100% travel.

Responsibilities

• Operates company trucks to facilitate remote operations across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
• Plans route to ensure most economical use of time and equipment.
• Sets up and tears down the support trucks and assists with the trailer.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinates maintenance with Penske facilities and DOT documentation.
• Performs duties in compliance with DOT regulations and maintains required DOT docs.
• Keeps trailer stocked with necessary supplies and provides technical support at events.
