Job summary

NEP Group Inc. is seeking an experienced OTR Mobile Unit Driver to safely transport mobile units to events across the US, Canada and Mexico. You will set up and tear down trailers, assist with equipment installation and provide technical support at remote sites.

The role requires a CDL-A, a clean driving record and the ability to travel 100% across multiple regions. A high school diploma is required, and familiarity with DOT regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five plus years’ over-the-road experience driving a commercial (CDL-A).
• Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Maintains a clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Hands-on experience with electronics (repair/installation) is preferred; lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to drive 18- and 10-speed manual transmission trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT reporting requirements.
• Ability to drive/perform heavy manual tasks under varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company owned and leased trucks across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
• Plan routes for economical use of time and equipment.
• Set up and tear down support trucks and trailers as needed.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance through local facilities and inform supervisor.
• Comply with DOT regulations and provide required DOT documentation.
• Keep trailer stocked with necessary supplies.
• Provide maintenance and technical support on equipment at client sites and events.
