Job summary

Estes Express is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to transport freight between Estes Service Centers across the network. Drivers will be away from home for about 5 days on average, with in-cab technology and FMCSA compliance at the core of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A).
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV requirement may apply).
• Must be able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor/trailer in accordance with Company, FMCSA, and state regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate records as required by regulations.
• Deliver freight between Estes Service Centers and customers.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; attend work regularly.
