Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines, a leading LTL freight carrier, seeks Line Haul Extraboard Drivers. You will operate tractors across Estes service centers, meeting FMCSA rules and maintaining safety. Expect company-paid uniforms, lodging, cell phone reimbursement, and bonus eligibility as you move freight between Estes Service Centers.

The role requires driving various terrains and seasons, with 5 days average between home time, and an opportunity for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age and 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift ~70 lbs.
• Able to drive all routes and terrains and in varied environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely in compliance with Company and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records as required by local, state, and federal rules.
• Comply with safety and security requirements for hazardous materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public; provide reliable service.
• May use in-cab technology and work different schedules or dock roles as needed.
