Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers for routes between Estes Service Centers. You’ll operate tractors safely, meet FMCSA regulations, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain logs and records.

Expect 5 days on the road with lodging provided and potential bonus eligibility. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and residence within 75 miles of a Service Center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Ability to meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely per FMCSA regs and company policy.
• Comply with FMCSA hours of service and safety regulations.
• Maintain required records and inspect equipment pre/post trip.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public.
• May use in-cab technology and drive different schedules as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety and security of cargo.
