Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Service Centers within the Estes network. The role requires operating tractors/trailers across varied terrain, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and adhering to FMCSA regulations.

You’ll join a team with company-provided uniforms, lodging where needed, cell phone reimbursement, and potential bonuses. The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL, FMCSA clearance, and the ability to pass medical exams and road tests.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam
• Must pass a road test
• Must be able to meet FMCSA English language requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely in accordance with company, FMCSA, state and local laws
• Maintains records and complies with regulations
• Adhere to FMCSA requirements for those with CDL
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report maintenance issues
• Provide safe and courteous service to customers and the public
• May drive different schedules and work dock based on business needs
• Maintain security of equipment and cargo
