Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a Line Haul Extraboard Driver to move freight between Estes Service Centers across the network. You will operate tractors and trailers in various terrains, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.

Expect dedicated travel time away from home with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to meet English reading

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations (1 year driving experience required).
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions including manual transmission and tire chains.
• Safely operate tractor/trailer in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain required records and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect vehicles, report maintenance issues, and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Comply with safe and legal transportation of hazardous materials and cargo security.
• Provide professional service to customers and maintain punctuality and reliability.
