Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking professional drivers to operate tractor/trailer units for freight movement across service centers within the Estes network. You will adhere to FMCSA regulations, complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain required records while delivering professional, courteous service to customers.

The role requires a Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to meet physical demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations (1 year driving experience).
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam.
• Must pass road test.
• Must be able to lift approx. 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA rules and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe vehicle condition.
• Maintain records as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
• Comply with safety, regulatory, and company requirements including hazardous materials handling.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• May use in-cab technology (ELD) and work various schedules based on business needs.
• Attend required drug testing and background checks.
